The human's ability to judge and create their own perception of others is never going to end. Each individual is going to have their own judgments of someone or something. For example, for a job interview one would dress very nice, do their hair, put on make up because they know they will be getting judged and we accept this form of judgment. Judging others and being right or being wrong is not going anywhere in society today. Testing such judgments and experimenting with one's own perception on anything can make judging a new kind of experience.
If each person has their own perception and develops their own judgment on a certain culture but have no experience can give them false information. When individuals create negative or possitive judgmental facts of something or someone when they have zero first had exposure is where the problem comes in. Perhaps people feel the need to judge because they need to create their own answers to something they do not understand. These people should find the desire within themselves to experience everything and then make an educated judgment at least.

Hey there! I agree with you about how people feel the need to judge other people because they need to create their own answers to something that they don't understand. I know that I personally do it. I try not to but it's a hard habit to break. I used to do it a lot when I was in high school and I was more impressionable then I am now. In high school I used to judge the "popular girls" before I even knew them. I would always assume that they were rude and mean because I didn't know them. I realized that this wasn't true as I got to know those girls and actually became good friends with a few of them. Now I try not to judge people before I get to know them. I think I do it because it's really hard to be completely open to someone who you don't really know anything about. But like I said before it's a hard habit to break.
ReplyDeleteGreat blog, I really like the example you gave about going to an interview. I mean I can totally relate to that! There have been times where I would rather be late to work and possible get fired all because my makeup was not done or because I did not feel ready. For me personally when I am not having a good day I put more makeup on to hide behind. When I studied abroad in Morocco i learned to be more myself. I did not have to wear makeup or dress a certain way and that was such a relief. It has taught me to value things more and to be less judgmentally...sorry i went off on a tangent!
